The Syro Malabar Diocese of Hosur will solemnly celebrate Dukhrana, the Feast of St. Thomas the Apostle, on Saturday, 11 July 2026, at 3:30 p.m. at Santhome Cathedral Basilica, Mylapore, the revered shrine built over the tomb of St. Thomas the Apostle.
The solemn Holy Qurbana will be celebrated by Mar George Rajendran, Bishop of the Eparchy of Thuckalay, together with Mar Sebastian Pozholiparambil, Bishop of the Hosur Diocese.
The principal concelebrants will be:

Dukhrana is one of the most important feasts of the Syro-Malabar Church, commemorating the martyrdom of St. Thomas the Apostle, who proclaimed the Gospel in India and is venerated as the Father in Faith of the Indian Church. The annual celebration at Santhome, where the Apostle is traditionally believed to have been buried, is a profound expression of faith and unity for the Syro Malabar Catholics.
The Diocese extends a cordial invitation to all priests, religious, and lay faithful to participate in this solemn Eucharistic celebration and to seek the intercession of St. Thomas.
